About the Undergraduate Minor program

    With the aim of innovating the mode of talent development, enhancing the quality of talent development, and producing more innovative financial talents that meet the demand of society and economy, the People’s Bank of China School of Finance at Tsinghua University has offered minor degree programs in “Internet Finance and Entrepreneurship” and “Finance”. These programs are designed to allow capable students to extend their financial knowledge in addition to their major studies and increase their competitiveness in the society.

Internet Finance and Entrepreneurship

1.          Objective

    The objective is to introduce theories and practices related to Internet finance and entrepreneurship to non-finance major students, equip them with basic Internet financial knowledge, and help them grow into interdisciplinary talents with innovative and entrepreneurial spirit.

Finance

1.          Objective

    Jointly offered by People’s Bank of China School of Finance at Tsinghua University and the School of Economics at Fudan University, the Minor Degree in Finance adopts an innovative mode of education, mainly through online teaching, to cultivate cross-disciplinary talents. The program aims to help students master economic and financial theories, familiarize them with the latest development in finance, and lay a sold foundation for their further studies in finance or careers in the financial sector.

2.          Courses and Credits

    A credit system is adopted. Students must finish 25 credits, including basic courses for no less than 10 points, specialized courses for no less than 9 credits, and elective courses for no less than 6 points. The detailed information is as follows:
