About

The Master of Finance program began enrolling students in 2013. With a strong practice-oriented focus, the program builds on the previous MS Finance program. The program requires two to three years of intensive study. A Tsinghua University degree certificate and diploma will be awarded upon graduation.

The program is designed to equip students with a wealth of professional expertise, international vision, industry experience, and academic insight. It provides students with the financial skills sought by government departments, financial institutions, enterprises, and consultancy firms both in China and abroad.

With a focus on the Chinese and international financial systems, commercial banking, capital markets, and insurance markets, the curriculum is ideal for increasing students’ competencies and effectiveness in today’s job market. Courses are taught by a combination of school faculty, government policy-makers, financial institution executives, and school alumni.

Career Prospects

Students will enjoy internship opportunities with partner institutions. The employment rate has been 100% since 2008, with job offers coming from a wide range of employers, including the central bank, financial regulatory authorities, and other prestigious financial institutions.
