In the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games, the cutting-edge technologies and green technologies showed China’s confidence in innovation and openness. With the theme "green, sharing, open and integrity", the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympic Games highlights a series of new technologies, applications and products. Tsinghua PBCSF Alumni actively attributed their efforts in the Beijing Winter Olympic and Winter Paralympic Games with their new technologies and innovative achievements.

Hong Jie is alumni of Finance EMBA 2016, chairman and president of 3TREES Group. Ni Haiqiong, is alumni of Finance EMBA 2019, and president of Orient Sundar Group. Orient Sundar Group is known for its construction of ultra-low energy consumption buildings, such as Lowcarn Passive House. With its green and energy-saving industrial chain, Orient Sundar Group successfully finished the construction of Olympic Village Zhangjiakou Zone, Olympic Village of Yanqing Zone and alpine media center, and Chongli Thaiwoo Resort, providing a low-carbon, pleasant and healthy environment for athletes and audiences.

Chen Chenghui, is alumni of Finance EMBA 2015, chairman of KEHUA. KEHUA provides a modular data center for the security and protection system of the Olympic Winter Games. This solution is facilitated by energy efficiency management technology, combined cooling and heating system and intelligent operation and management technology that effectively reduced the energy consumption of the cooling system and losses of the power supply and distribution system. Through intelligent and real-time automatic tuning, the solution was able to save energy as well as reduce emission and led to a significant reduction in operation and management cost. “Technological innovation is what the enterprise relies on to achieve a green and intelligent security and protection system.” said Chen Chenghui.

Liu Jiangtao, alumni of Finance EMBA 2018, then chairman of Caissa Tosun, which provides hydrogen-driven buses in Beijing and Yanqing District to ensure a free and green shuttle service for athletes and relevant staff.

Hongtai Aplus, founded by Sheng Xitai, alumni of Finance EMBA 2014 has coordinated with many member enterprises to create a high-tech-based Olympic Winter Games with advanced technologies such as AI, image identification and automatic control technology. 

SoundAI Technology, founded by Chen Xiaoliang, alumni of Finance EMBA 2019, has facilitated 3.6 million nucleic acid tests and provide health ensuring service to 1.6 million relevant persons, with its COVID-19 smart healthcare kit for and smart devices.

Tong Bin is alumni of Global Finance GSFD 2017, and chairman of Beijing Jingguang Trading Co., Ltd. As the designated food supplier, Jingguang followed strict standards for food inspection, transportation, management and disinfection, and ensured that all the products provided are strictly qualified and with zero complaints. “We bear a heavy responsibility. Confronted with the global COVID-19 epidemic, besides the strict standards, we also pay much attention to our staff to ensure their health." said Tong Bin.
