The Second Financial Leaders of Tomorrow Summer Program Closed at Tsinghua PBCSF

On July 11, the 2014 Financial Leaders of Tomorrow Summer Program closing ceremony was held at the PBC School of Finance. Close to 70 attendees from over 20 universities around the world received their certificates of completion from the Associate Dean Kang Yitong.

In his closing speech, Kang spoke highly of summer program attendees and expressed his hope for them. University of Cape Town Graduate School of Business student, Nathan Mass, spoke on behalf of all attendees. He thanked the school for organizing the program and all instructors for their wonderful lectures.

In this year’s program, a teaching team of 10 instructors, who are industry elites, regulatory officers and Tsinghua faculty members, lectured on the domestic financial markets, finance regulation and China’s society, politics and culture.

Visit the Agriculture Bank of China Headquarter 

As an important part of the program, corporate visits to Huiyuan Juice Group, a leading domestic juice producer, and to the Agriculture Bank of China, one of China’s major banks, enable attendees to have a close look at domestic businesses, both in the real economy and financial services industry.  

 

Visit the Great Wall

 

Make Dumplings

In addition, attendees visited the must sees in the capital city, the Forbidden City, the Great Wall, and the Ming Tombs for example. They also had fun learning to make dumplings and playing basketball and football games.
