Executive Associate Dean LIAO Li Visits George Washington UniversityCarnegie Mellon University

LIAO Li, the Executive Associate Dean of Tsinghua University PBC School of Finance, headed a teamvisited the George Washington University School of Business (GWSB)Carnegie Mellon University's Tepper School of Business from August 12 to 14.


During the visits, he met with the school executivesreached consensus with his U.S. counterparts on strategic cooperation in financial educationresearch.

George Washington University, founded in 1821, is located at the heart of Washington D.C. Adjacent to the World Bank, IMF, State Department, Department of TreasuryFederal Reserve, it is ideal for fostering global financial research. Prof. Doug Gutherie, University Vice PresidentDean of GWSB, Prof. George Jabbour, Senior Associate Dean, Sanjay Rupani, Chief Strategy OfficerDavid Slocum, Director of Specialized Executive Education Programs, attended the meeting with Liao's team.

Also to strengthen the academic ties, he had a meeting with Tepper's faculty members, including Prof. Duane Seppi, Head of the M.S. in Computational Finance Program, Prof. Pierre Lian, Associate Prof. of Accounting,Prof. Chester Spatt, former SEC Chief Economist.
