Madam WU Xiaoling, Dean of the PBC School of Finance of Tsinghua University, together with Executive Associate Dean LIAO Liother school representatives, met with Dean Sunil Kumarhis colleagues from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business on November 28th. The two schools held an in-depth discussion on student exchange, summer programs,joint executive education programs.
After an introduction to PBCSFits history, Dean Wu pointed out that, during the past 30 years, the school has produced many of China’s elite financial professionals, by adopting a practice-based approach to finance education. The collaboration between the two schools will contribute greatly to the cultivation of financial minds as Chicago Booth has a world-class collection of faculty.
Dean Sunil Kumar expressed his belief in greater investment in financial educationin strengthening collaboration during the financial crisis. He talked about his hope to further expand the cooperation between the two schoolsto deepen friendships.
