From March 24 to 26, 2025, a delegation from Tsinghua University PBC School of Finance, led by Dean Jiao Jie and Associate Dean Zhang Xiaoyan, visited Japan to engage in extensive exchanges with well-known universities and financial institutions such as the University of Tokyo, Kyoto University, Hitotsubashi University, the Bank of Japan, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation, and Mizuho Bank. The visit aimed to explore cooperation opportunities and promote the internationalization of financial education and research.

Dean Jiao Jie stated, "This visit is a significant opportunity for Tsinghua PBCSF to enhance international cooperation. Through in-depth exchanges with Japanese universities and financial institutions, we hope to establish closer cooperative relationships in the fields of education and financial economics, jointly cultivate financial talents with an international perspective, and drive innovation and progress in the financial sector."
Associate Dean Zhang Xiaoyan noted, "Japan has rich experience and outstanding achievements in financial education and research. We look forward to expanding our cooperation through this visit and providing more opportunities for academic exchanges and learning for both faculty and students."
During the meetings with the University of Tokyo, Kyoto University, and Hitotsubashi University, the delegation reached preliminary consensus on several cooperation plans and discussed the possibility of signing a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU).

This visit laid a solid foundation for in-depth cooperation between Tsinghua PBCSF and Japanese universities and financial institutions, further expanding the space for international cooperation.
