Tsinghua PBCSF Delegation Visits South Korea

From March 27 to 28, 2025, a delegation from Tsinghua University's PBC School of Finance, led by Dean Jiao Jie and Associate Dean Zhang Xiaoyan, visited South Korea to hold talks with Seoul National University, Korea University, Yonsei University, and the Siheung Municipal Government.

During the meetings with these universities, both sides engaged in in-depth discussions on potential cooperation in student and faculty exchanges, joint teaching programs, and collaborative research.

In the meeting with the Siheung Municipal Government, the delegation gained an in-depth understanding of the city's development and explored cooperation in student internships.

Dean Jiao Jie said, "This visit is an important step for Tsinghua PBCSF to expand international cooperation. We hope to explore new models of financial education through in-depth cooperation with South Korean universities and local governments, and provide a broader platform for learning and exchange for both faculty and students."

Associate Dean Zhang Xiaoyan noted, "The innovative practices and international experience of South Korean universities in the field of finance are worth learning from. We look forward to enhancing our influence in financial education through cooperation."

This visit marks a new chapter in cooperation between Tsinghua PBCSF and South Korean universities and local governments. In the future, both sides will continue to promote the implementation of cooperation projects and further deepen cooperation in the field of financial education, providing more space for cultivating financial talents with an international perspective.
