As Dean Jie Jiao remarked in his opening speech, “It is an exciting scene—full of enthusiasm and dynamic conversations.” Master’s and doctoral students from across the School participated actively, engaging in in-depth, one-on-one discussions with representatives from their target organizations.
Students shared that direct conversations with industry experts not only deepened their understanding of the latest trends and talent needs in the financial sector, but also clarified their personal career plans. Exchanges with institutions such as the IMF and the SAFE Central Foreign Exchange Business Center helped students appreciate the importance of integrating personal development with China’s national financial strategy from a global perspective. Meanwhile, interactions with technology companies such as Tencent and JD.com inspired strong interest in exploring cross-disciplinary opportunities in “Finance + Technology.” The Carnival truly facilitated a “two-way journey” between employers and talent, yielding fruitful outcomes.
