Call for Papers--2020 International Conference on US-China Trade Disputes and Reforms in Globalization

Conference Theme:

In 2020, the wild spread of the COVID-19 pandemic has intensified frictions in global economy and world trade. The disputes between U.S. and China has rapidly expanded from trade to high-tech and finance. Risks and uncertainty in global supply chain and financial system are growing. 

We held the first and the second "Conference on International Trade Disputes and Globalization Reconstruction" in December 2018 and in December 2019. The conference has become the most influential and the only academic annual meeting focusing on US-China trade disputes in China. 

This year the conference will be held in December 4-6. We aim to bring together academic and policy researchers and practitioners to carry out all-round and multi-angle development on a variety of issues. The conference will study and exchange facts and analytical frameworks, promote academic research and finally, offer policy suggestions.

  • Global governance system (Trade, Finance, Industrial policy)

  • Great power competitions and US-China relations

  • The impacts and responses of trade disputes

  • Long-arm jurisdiction

  • Competition in high-tech industry and Industrial policy

  • Asian Economic Cooperation

  • Competition and development on international monetary system

  • Cross-border payment and China's capital market opening

  • Covid-19 pandemic and changes in world economy
