Zhang Xiaoyan to be a Member of the Global Future Councils

Recently, Zhang Xiaoyan, the Xinyuan Chair Professor of Finance and Associate Dean at Tsinghua PBCSF, received invitation from Klaus Schwab, the Founder and Executive Chairman Professor of WEF, to join the Global Future Councils of the World Economic Forum.

The World Economic Forum (WEF) is a not-for-profit international organization with the purpose of studying and discussing the problems in the world economy and promoting international economic cooperation and exchange. The Global Future Councils is the world's leading interdisciplinary academic network dedicated to promoting future-thinking innovation. It aims to promote knowledge development and jointly seeks solutions to the primary problems faced by human society. It plays an important role in giving challenging assumptions, providing ideological leadership, promoting innovative thinking to shape the future, and helping leaders understand the world, respond to the changes and prepare for the future after COVID-19.

As a member of the Global Future Councils, Zhang Xiaoyan, together with other members, will put forward strategic action initiatives and provide forward-looking views and suggestions in the professional fields.
