Students Attend Winter Program at the University of Notre Dame

On January 9, Tsinghua PBCSF Winter Program started in Mendoza College of Business, University of Notre Dame. 22 students and staff from PBCSF attended the program. 

A reception dinner was hosted to welcome the students and staff at the first day of their arrival on January 8. Though tired from jet-lag, the students were excited and looked forward to the 2 weeks of study.  

The first course U.S. Financial System & Economy was lectured by Ronald Burgman, Adjunct Professor at the University of Notre Dame and CEO at the Asset Economics Inc. He reviewed the development history of American financial system and analyzed its current challenges in the class.

 

 

The Notre Dame International Winter Program, at its second year, is a two week cultural and educational immersion program, designed to introduce and enhance students’ knowledge on US Financial Systems and US Political and Economic Systems.

The University of Notre Dame is a Catholic research university built in the middle of 19th century. It is one of the few universities to regularly rank in the top 25 in the U.S. News & World Report survey of America's best colleges and the Learfield Sports Directors’ Cup standings of the best overall athletics programs.
