On July 16, Vice Chairman of China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC) Xinyi Zhuang visited the School for a research purpose related to case development, heading a group of experts from the Department of Listed Company Supervision of CSRC, the Securities Association of China and the Capital Market Institute.

Speeding up the construction of finance case databases can promote the construction of financial markets supervision mechanism and provide support to teaching of finance practice, pointed out by Zhuang during his visit. Meanwhile, he stressed that the data of important events witnessed by regulators such as illegal disclosure of listed company information, mergers and acquisitions, and major risk disposition should be collected and well preserved so that cases could be developed on the basis of them. 

Executive Associate Dean Prof. Li Liao, Associate Dean Cen Zhao, and Director of the China Finance Case Center Assoc. Prof. Hong Zhang, received the visiting group and exchanged in-depth views with them on the development of the Case Center. 

The China Finance Case Center at Tsinghua PBCSF is a research and teaching institution dedicated to finance-focused case research and development. The mission of the Center is to establish the most influential financial case collection in China.
