On May 16th, 2015, Associate Dean of Tsinghua University PBC School of Finance Hao Zhou and Associate Dean of Fudan University School of Economics Tian Suhua signed a Memorandum of Understanding for Finance Minor/Second Major on behalf of the two sides at Fudan University, officially launching the first joint blended-learning program in China.

Enrollment of the first class is open to students who are not finance majors from both of the universities. The launching of the blended-learning program enables quality educational recourses to be shared online and creates conditions for students to study independently and effectively.

The two Schools will jointly design the curriculum system, share teaching loads, recognize each other’s credits and admit students separately. Teaching and learning activities are mainly carried out on the online platform, www.xuetangx.com. A minor finance/second major certificate will be issued to students who have earned full credits within the stipulated time.

XuetangX is a Chinese MOOC platform designated for sharing experimental results from MoE's Research Center for Online Education. It offers interactive MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) from the world's best universities and organizations.
