Deutsche Bundesbank University of Applied Sciences Faculty Teach Central Bank Management Course for Master’s Students

Deutsche Bundesbank University of Applied Sciences Dean Prof. Erich Keller and Associate Dean Prof. Thomas Fehrmann lectured on Central Bank Management-International Experience at Tsinghua PBCSF from Oct. 13th to 23rd.


The Deutsche Bundesbank is the central bank of Germany and part of the European System of Central Banks (ESCB). Prof. Fehrmann, with rich industry and teaching experience accumulated in his career, elaborated the Euro-system’s monetary policies and the process of European integration. 


Prof. Keller looked into the global financial crisis and Europe's sovereign debt crisis, and made in-depth analysis of financial crisis with concrete data.


The Central Bank Management-International Experience course, with a history of ten years, is designed by the Deutsche Bundesbank University of Applied Sciences for Tsinghua PBCSF students. The course, including 10 lectures, is taught over a period of two weeks.
