On October 14th, Tsinghua
PBCSF 2014 Summer Social Program Closing Ceremony was held.
The Inner Mogolia Naiman Team,
Fujian Ningde Team, Jiangsu Kunshan Team, Gansu Pingchuan Team and Guangxi
Baise Team presented at the ceremony. Among them, the Naiman Team, Kunshan Team
and Baise Team were awarded the first prize, Pingchuan Team the second prize
and Ningde Team the third prize.
The five teams presented the achievements
of their programs. Through the programs, students exchanged ideas with each
other, visited local financial institutes, met Tsinghua alumni, and looked into
some pressing problems faced by local markets.
Dean Xiaoling Wu and
the Tsinghua University Deputy Secretary Zongkai Shi made concluding remarks.
Wu said that the program enhanced students’ consciousness that finance should serve
the people. Shi also spoke highly of all the efforts that Tsinghua PBCSF had
made for the summer social programs.
124 students from 17 schools
of Tsinghua University participated in the 2014 program. For the last three
years, the School has sent 27 teams, all together 329 people, to this program.
