On September 26, Tsinghua PBCSF held lectures on frontiers of finance. LIAO Li, Executive Associate Dean, WANG Zhihua, professor of Tsinghua University, SHI Guangyao, Director of the China Center for Market Value ManagementGAO Hao, Director of PBCSF Global Family Business ProgramExecutive Director of the China Financial Case Center delivered keynote speeches on current topics in respective fields.
The lectures focused on four main topics--Internet finance, dialogue between financial capitaltechnological innovation, market value management of public companiesfamily wealth management, attracting a host of senior executives of listed companiesfinancial institutions with keen vision.
In the morning session, Liao elaborated on the development trendsuccessful mode of Internet finance, considering P2Pcrowdfunding as two revolutionary forces in the current Internet finance. He noted that there will be great risks if we pay no attention to Internet finance. The flexibility of US regulationlegislation system in coping with new thingsrevolutions is a valuable lesson. In the future, China needs to develop inclusive financefinance education as well.

In the afternoon session, SHI Guangyao talked about the "Art of Market Value Management of Public Companies". He mentioned, corporate listing is essentially enterprise sellingmarket value is important in enterprise selling.

GAO Hao stressed that, 60 percent of China's 500 richest people are above 50 years of age, meaning China will face the problem of succession in the coming decade. The common risk of domestic enterprises is "sudden collapse"difficulties for corporate operation due to entrepreneurs' familypersonal changes. Inheritance is a long-term process calling for early planningpreparation.
