The Finance EMBA Course of "China's Monetary Policy" was held from May 15th to May 18th, with ZHOU Xiaochuan being the main lecturer. Before the lecture, he had a brief meeting with Tsinghua University President CHEN Jining. Zhou's lecture was chaired by WU Xiaoling, Board ChairwomanDean,attended by Executive Associate Dean LIAO Li, Senior Associate Dean NIE FenghuaAssociate Dean ZHAO Cen.

ZHOU Xiaochuan delivered a lecture regarding "China's Monetary Policy". As the Honorary Dean of the School, he is also the Vice Chairman of the 12th CPPCC National Committee, Governor of the People's Bank of China,Chairman of the Monetary Policy Committee.

During the lecture, Zhou mainly focused on three concerns in international macroeconomic policy from globalstrategic perspectives, including macroeconomic policy in response to crisis, counter-cyclical regulation in particular; the transmission mechanism of the central bank's macroeconomic policy;sovereignty debts. After the class, Zhou had a pleasant talk with the students.

Besides him, the program has also invited top officials from relevant entities as course lecturers. The course was much welcomed by the students as they can further understand the monetary policy-making in Chinainternational policy trends.
