Tian Xuan, Yu Jianfeng, and Zhou Hao Ranked Elsevier's 2023 Highly Cited Chinese Researchers

Professors Tian Xuan, Yu Jianfeng, and Zhou Hao from Tsinghua University's PBC School of Finance were ranked among Elsevier's 2023 "Highly Cited Chinese Researchers" on March 27, 2024, in the field of Applied Economics.

Tian Xuan, Associate Dean and Chair Professor of Finance at PBC School of Finance, Tsinghua University, focuses on corporate finance, corporate innovation, and venture capital. His research has been published first-class international academic journals including the Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, Review of Financial Studies, and Management Science.

Yu Jianfeng, Chair Professor of Finance at PBC School of Finance, Tsinghua University, specializes in theoretical and empirical research on behavioral finance and macro-finance. His work has been published in first-class international journals including the American Economic Review, Journal of Finance, Journal of Financial Economics, Journal of Monetary Economics, Review of Financial Studies, and Management Science.

Zhou Hao, Chair Professor of Finance at PBC School of Finance, Tsinghua University, engages in research on variance risk premiums in equity, bond, currency, and credit markets, stochastic volatility and asset pricing models, and the puzzles of jumps and asset pricing in financial markets. His research findings have been published in leading international academic journals including the Journal of Finance, Review of Financial Studies, and Journal of Financial Economics.

The "Highly Cited Chinese Researchers" list by Elsevier is based on citation and index data from Scopus, a leading global information analytics business of Elsevier. The methodology was developed by ShanghaiRanking Consultancy. As of 2024, it has been released for ten times. It gathers high attention from media and scholars both domestically and internationally by analyzing the performance of Chinese scholars' scientific research.
