Abstract:
In recent years, sports industry has been praised as a new "economic growth point", the mode of sports governance is the product of sports management, but also the most important thing in the development of sports industry. This paper will analyze the governance model of British sports, explore how Britain woke up in the lacklustre sleep of the 1996 Atlanta Olympic Games, abandoned the old governance model which is represented by the bureaucratic association, and enter the era of diversified new governance structure through the pluralistic transition. Among them, the "Partnership division of labor", "Central-regional-local responsibility division", "Corporate governance" and "Rational use of funds" have become the means for the British government to build a new line of practice. Finally, under such a governance model, competitive sports, campus sports and mass sports have also begun to change dramatically, and reverse promotion, acting on the development of British sports.
