The Research Center for Wealth Management was established in September 2023, which is a research institution affiliated with PBC School of Finance Tsinghua University.

The center’s main research area is wealth management, aims to using advanced scientific research methods, combining theory with practice, focusing on pain points in wealth management, building a exchanges platform for academic research, regulatory policy and financial industry, research policy and academic, and creating an authoritative think tank of wealth management in China.

The center is headed by Professor Zhang Xiaoyan who is Associate Dean of PBC School of Finance Tsinghua University and Deputy Director of Tsinghua Fintech Research Institute. Assistant professor Zhang Fudong is serve as the deputy directors. The center currently has 1 postdoctoral fellow and 3 research specialists.
