Established in July 2017, the Research Team for Asset Management, based at Tsinghua PBCSF, is committed to the industry and policy research related to asset management and financial markets in China and abroad, and provides policy suggestions for the healthy development and effective supervision of the domestic asset management industry. In addition, based on the practice of asset management industry, the team also conducts first-class academic research on asset pricing, contributing new academic knowledge and expanding the international influence of the domestic capital market.

The team is directed by Jianfeng Yu , Jianshu Chair Professor of Finance, who served as Piper Jaffray professor in the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota before joining Tsinghua PBCSF. He has been a researcher associate at the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas since 2011. Professor Jianfeng Yu has been engaged in theoretical and empirical research on behavioral finance and macro finance for a long time. His research has been published many times in top academic journals and he has won many international awards, including the Smith-Breeden First Prize.
